Yep. Ernie's old car. SF Bay Area favorite for years.
I would imagine it is making the auction rounds. B |

I may be wrong, but if memory serves me correctly, it went for around $37,000 the last time it went up for auction.

He was hating the fact that he sold (last time I spoke with him) He is good friends with "Horizontally Opposed" here on the forum. B |

I think it has sold at least 3x in the last couple years, around the $33k range. I know that's what one owner was asking when I asked. now, when I saw it listed recently, they wanted like $45k for it.

QUOTE I think it has sold at least 3x in the last couple years, around the $33k range. I thought so, and the most recent sale was not that long ago. QUOTE From eBay add: The transaxle is sourced from the same 993 RS Porsche, which is a rear engine vehicle. Does this really have a six speed? The shifter looks like a 915??? Does this really have a six speed? The shifter looks like a 915??? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) not unless they changed out the tranny, which I highly doubt. you can see the 915 specs here in the original ad. http://www.pbase.com/9146gt/image/27626790 |
