Dijon bomb's got it, i'm assuming it was a factory option, was it offered all years? Just wondering.

The 10/70 car I just butchered had one in it!!!
I kept the harness out of it ..
Soooo you can follow it thru over here at some point..
BUT TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION.....
My 69 edition 914 owners manual shows it...AND my 76 owners manual
shows it....

My 75 Smurf mobile 1.8 had one in it too.....

Factory only is my understanding. Not certain if it was offered in the later years though.

914114 had a rear defrost window. Hard to get much earlier than that. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Is it true, as some would intimate, that this is a somewhat rare option code ? Some of us up here in the northland had them in our cars, but I must say, most I've seen do not.....
