I heard its a complete pain in the you-know-what to get to the thing while the engine is up in the car. b |

It's one of those 2 hours jobs the first time, 30 minutes everytime after. Samson |

I've dropped the engine once, turned into a multi-day event due to getting the wrong seals. I think I'll remove the header to get to the alt. That way next time i will know which method works best for me! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) I am sure there will be a next time.
I found an alternator at the FLAPS for $53.00, with a lifetime warrenty. I just have to wait until Tuesday for it to arrive. Probably install it next weekend. It's good to have something to look forward too. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) |
