haha, no, it's not that easy ...

the picture is pushed down to the client browser through a script. no hot-linky ...
just adding a extension to the url won't do you any good ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

smells like a re-write of the IPB blog code ...

Guess what...

The IPB blogs don't really resize the images, so you can just link to the "thumbnail" image and it's full size. It pisses me off that the IPB is capable of resizing images, but they don't. So the thumbnails aren't really thumbnails at all. They're full size images displayed in small proportions. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

PM me if you want to know how to link to full size old-blog images.
