Ok, new twist to my previous transmission question. Now I'm gathering data to compare building versus buying:
what is the fair going USED rates for: - 6/29 Ring and Pinion - M gear - S gear - X gear 2ndary interest in the costs of - 904 mainshafts - C gear - H gear - M gear - L gear - R gear - V gear...... ok it seems I want to know everything all at once huh.. thanks all brant |

Does anybody have even a guess as to what the MSX will run, or the R&P?
(I have an opportunity to buy a box with these and just want to know if it will cost me more to convert mine, or buy the box of known good condition and get what I want that way.) brant |

I can't remember but isn't S and V already the standard gears? 3rd and 4th?
I wouldn't pay more than $10 for those sets. I bought a sweet 1st gear set 2 years ago for $50. Had almost new dogteeth and syncro. Geoff |

yeah your right V is a stock 4th, so that would be no big deal (good catch)
I don't think S is stock though Do ring and pinion's cost a fortune? brant |

I should have clarified...
I meant a 6/29 ring and pinion as opposed to a stock one? brant |
