Filled mine for the first time, will ever (been driving for 10yrs) and it gulped almost 3qts... Needless to say, the sloppy tail shifting became less sloppy (albeit still a tail shifter).
How manay qts fill up an empty tranny? |

Someone with the Haynes manual handy can give you the exact quantity, but just short of 3 qts is right. Just keep going until it drips out of the fill hole and your good.

The trans holds 2.6 qts, sounds like it was empty. Looks like you got off cheap.

Mine must have been close to empty b/c I put in between 2 & 3 qts. Granted, I had the right side jacked up so I might have overfilled it a bit by the time it got full... Lucky me!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/boldblue.gif)
