I just about finished the firewall this weekend. I installed the driver seat and adjusted it to my driving position. I'm 5'7" with a 32" inseam. There is still room behind the head rest.

That firewall looks good. Almost like it was supposed to be there.

rich 918-S,

I love your project. Pics as you progress are greatly appreciated! I'll echo Brad's comment -- the workmanship looks very solid and factory-like. I'm looking forward to your first win at a concours. :-) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif)

I have a 3 1/2" package shelf at the base of the window. The flat firewall panel will be removable. I have Dzus fasteners I need to install and some bead roller work to do yet.

Lookin good, have a nice place to put a fire extinguisher and stuff behind the driver seat as well. Wish I had that much room behind mine (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Keep up the good work!
