All steel. The headlights and tailights give it away!

It is being built by a shop here in SoCal that specializes in early Mercedes restoration. One of the guy's who works there is a 914 fan.

WOW!

I don't think I've ever seen a re-body or "kit" that I like...but that is sweet!

Who ever did the work is a hell of a metal masher.

That is the first that I have seen of it. Until I saw the head on shot, I would not have known it was a 914.

Itsa Lamporshotus.....yea, that's the ticket! Yea, my brother's wife's nephew's girlfriend's father had one. Drove it a couple years ago, yea that's it! First saw it in that car magazine, Road & Driver, err, Rodent Track, yea, that's the ticket.

Seriously though, with coachwork like that, the car needs Eye-tal-yun-looking wheels, not hot-rod rims. Pretty car though.

I think it has a Lambo "flair" to it. I also believe it to be the first re-body of a 914 that I honestly like.

Not sure about the top. I'll try to get more details.
