[font=Impact] I finally got me a 914 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/owned.gif) 1975 1.8
The car has a rebuilt motor w/ ???? wiring...
When I got it, she would start & turn off just fine but would not IDLE....
So off to the PORSCHE Mechanic it went>><<
After a new Air Flow Sensor & tune-up all was well.... I had a new High Torque Starter installed, just to avoid future problems....
Now, the car will not turn off after starting??? The old starter/solenoid had 2 post (fule pump/starter???)the new starter/solenoid had one ,which the mechanic split....I had the Relay Circuit Board cleaned and it check out ok... The high$$$ Mechanic can't figure it out, can you???
HELP ME PLEASE--thank you Landen@sbcglobal.net

You should post this in the "garage" forum - you'll get more/better responses there.
