This may be old news, but my wife and I went to see Cars last night. Obviously a theatre full of families and kids, but a nice movie done by a very talented group of animators/computer geeks!
Whoever wrote and designed it was definately an enthusiast though, the little details and snippets that only a true fan would know made it an extremely enjoyable watch. I'm not a movie critic (though my wife knows Roger Ebert's mother!), but highly reccommend it for a good evening out if you're not wrenching (or driving - God forbid) on the 914. Only thing better would have been to see it at a Drive-In if there were any left around here. So, along with the upcoming release of Grand Prix, I now have another DVD to purchase! |
