At my last track event during the Time Trial my G50 shift tower in Fritz got very loose. My bushing inside the tower (the ball socket bushing) disintegrated. I bought a new one.
Do I put molylube on the inside and outside of the bushing to help with the interference fit into the casting? Or do I just lube the ball socket portion only? Thanks, Bill P. Here's a pic of the tower.... Attached image(s) |
