Back when FLAPS were friendly, local, AND auto parts stores, you could pick the one you wanted from the extensive collection. Rather than waste your time at Midas, try a REAL muffler shop. The Cap'n

You have the the big 2 1/2" collector? If so, Kragen, Auto Zone, Pep Boys, has them, call first to make sure it's in stock. |

"I'm looking for an exhaust gasket"
"For which car?" "Well, its an aftermarket header for a Porsche, but its probably not in your computer" "What year?" "73, but I really dont think its your computer" "1.7 or 2.0?" "2.0, but do you have any standard size gaskets?" *Pause* "Im sorry, but there is no header gasket on your car." "I said its aftermarket. I'm looking for a standard size" "I dont know how to search by size" "Well theres like 6 aisles here, can you point to which aisle the gaskets are in?" "What year and make is your car?" "fuck it" |

"Your not gona have it... grr, 02 ranger" "...." "Nope sorry, I dont carry them" "69 camaro" "Oh, I guess we do, What size do you want?" "Do you have the turbo mufflers or the glasspack?" "size?" "Let me see your screen...." .... "Let me just get one out and show you" (dumb ass could have done that in the first place...) Dumb ass comes out with a square box. "Nope, not the one, bye" Aaron.. Buy all the one's they have, make sure they accept returns, and return the one's that wont fit. |

it appears to be a basic burns collector..... not a porsche part When I ran the Kerry Hunter Header, I grabed a Mr. Gasket V-8 2 1/2" flange header gasket at Auto Zone, amongst the Edelbrock manifolds and carbs, headers and all the V-8 bling bling crap. And I've seen them in the same type isle at Kragen & Pep Boys. |

Try to find the copper versions (pure copper) they will last alot longer, and if you are smooth puliing them off, can be reused (i'm not smooth enough though)
