So, there I was. Friday night, I had just cut up 2 perfectly good engine stands and my rotisserie was well under way. get the uprights cut up and dressed, weld the first joint. Man welding thick steel is easier then welding sheet metal! Easily the beld butt weld I have done, and looks much better then the welds that I have put down on the car itself.
Start welding the second joint, and it stops. Panic. Whats wrong. Okay, welder is still on, and th lights are on so the fuse is good. I'm out of wire. I'm out of freak'n wire! I had a good groove going on too. I would have had both upright finished tonight. I'll have to run to the hardware store tomorrow before I go loose my shirt playing poker. Maybe I'll get the rotisserie finished on sunday. Zach |
