Noticed that my adjusting screws at the torsion bars turn pretty freely when there is no load on them (car jacked up). Will they stay in place or do they need to be safety wired or locked somehow?

Usually they are full of dirt so that they don't turn! If you have cleaned them and greased them up with weight on them they don't turn.

I've found on the race car that they can turn and change... maybe from jacking up the car, maybe from unweighting the car on course...
don't know exactly why but did notice some movement, so I locktite them and even tried safety wire. brant |
