They dont look like the Rudge knock-offs used on some 356's

I havent seen those types before

I'm thinking NLA aftermarket stuff

They're not factory for anything. I used to sell them in the 80's when I worked for a LAPS. The brand we sold was 'Bandit'. They came in a green box. They were available by a couple of manufacturers in the Keystone Accessories (not Keystone wheels) catalog. Probably still are as Keystone is still arround IIRC.

I think I've still got a pair over in dad's garage that have never been on anything. I'm into aircooled VWs alot so I can tell you for sure that I've seen them mounted in the center of a set of fake Empi 8-spoke aluminum wheels.
