Okay, I finally got another engine to put into my teener. It looks good, but obviously needs valve cover gaskets and pushrod tube seals. I also wanted to replace the rear main, oil cooler seals, and flywheel seal/felt/crush washer. Then of course I will need intake gaskets and exhaust rings/gaskets.
After pricing all that stuff it's like $120. The complete gasket set is $58. So my plan is to buy the gasket set and the Viton push rod tube seals since the ones in the kit are crappy. Will the other seals in the set be okay? Or is it worth it to buy it all seperately for quality brand seals? Dan |
