Started driving in '75
1969 Chevy Nova (the Tank) 1968 VW Squareback (Big Red) drove it for 15 years '80s Mercury Lynx (Jynx) would overheat at the drop of a hat Dodge Colt Vista don't know the year and don't care Mercury Tracer ran fairly reliably for way too long! '96 Montero (wife's current car) '74 914 (my current car) until the 914 the VW was the most fun to drive that I had owned |

The coolest car that I ever owned was a 1971 Jaguar E-Type roadster last of the 6cyl roadsters paid $6000 for it brand new including sales tax loved that car to drive it was to cure any problems that were bothering you.The worst car I have ever owned was a 84 Volvo sedan sold it after 6 months of misery....worlds biggest piece of junk.... Volvo couldn't and wouldn't fix it.I think Volvos are made for people who hate cars.

I started driving on the street in 1963 and I've had too many cars to list the first I actually owned was a Triumph Herald covertable, Long story but it was a massive pos...no doubt the worst was a Mitsubishi /Dodge wagon called the "colt Vista" un believeably bad. The best was the 914 with the 2.7 twin plug engine, but I love my green 73 2.0 and the freeway sled we have now is an Acura Legend (95) and it does everything right damn near all the time....but I'll never love it like the "old" cars I've had....it's like a great appliance...hard to get teary eyed when it has no "soul"....
