I need someone who can do custom upholstery for a car that will be at SEMA this November (must be done by Sept):
1) full back panel with integral passenger seat reformed to match a leather GT3 seat shape and stitching. It will have a recessed passenger head rest from a Toyota Scion.
2) door panels with BMW inserts reformed to the 914 door with modified 996 elect. regulators
3) reshaped and recovered sun visors
4) possibly recover the a-pillar and targa pads
5) cable shifter boot

concept is shown...

Felix,

You need to contact Roy Brizio and find out who he uses.

Or locate: "The Butcher" he is in South San Fran.

"The Butcher" used to be a real meat butcher back in the day. He has been building street rods for years now.. his friends nick named him "The Butcher"

I can get contact info for him if you like. He will have an upholstry guy for you if RoyB cant/wont help you.

I used a place on Old Middlefield in Mountain View. They are in the first industrial complex on the left as you get off of the new bridge they just built over 101. I forget the name. They do a lot of custom work.

There was a great upholstery shop in SJ a few years ago that I used but they have since gone out of business but one of the main guys set up shop somewhere else in SJ; I'll try to remember/locate the guy's name/contact info.

Cook's in Deadwood City has a good rep. I had some minor work done there and was happy with it.

The guy I'm thinking of used to be one of the main guys at Bascom Upholstery. Let me know if you are still interested in getting his contact info, may take a few days to hear from my contacts.

Welp I got a few offline leads and checked one out today. I like that they are 2 miles from my house. I'm not looking for multi-colored unique material upholstery just OEM type quality and formed for the modern look.

Mueller suggested a guy who won best WCC04 interior. He's an aviation interior specialist. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Thanks all! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap56.gif)
