I have an unexpected week off work, so I thought I'd tackle the floorpans. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blowtorch.gif) The Passenger seat has holes on both sides, but there is no evidence of a mount ever having been on the door side. It's a little hard to tell though, due to all the rust.
So should there be a mount in the circled area? |

Damn got me on that one. mine looks remarkably like that however. So I say no.
There is nothing that I see on the bottom of an early seat that could attach to that point. I think the seat just sits in between the front cross member and fire wall and longitudinal and tunnel |

No hinged mount for 70-71 on the passenger side.

So should there be a mount in the circled area? YES! the early mounting brackets don't have moving parts, just two threaded studs, but YES, you should have two brackets, one on each side ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Andy Attached image(s) |
