Subject been posted a bunch of times. The stock air filter is NLA.

I am only a few miles away from Summit Racing. The guys there are very helpfull. I asked if they could get an air filter for my car. They told me that if I could find an old one and take some measurements that they were sure that they could find something that would work.

Looking at the housing I am not sure if the filter had beveled edges or not but if some one could post some pics and some measurements we could at least look.

Please measure ID, OD Height and filter width.

I will take it from there.

There has to be at least some kind of substitute for us lowly 1.7er's.

I did the same on my MGA. Found a Kubota tractor filter that fits perfectly.

STEP IT UP BOYS.

i have an old one I can send you if you can find a replacement. However, it is not a big deal as you can still get them new from Bosch #73349, they are just NLA from Porsche.

Thanks Boys... as usual.

I will try to put together a list of part numbers of various makes that will fit this.

Probably can cross ref the bosch number.

Oh and JP... I got something better in mind... should get about 8,000 HP out of it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
