EBAY 6

Looks nice but could be too good to be true. I have a question in to the "Car Dealership" asking about the engine...

When it's a dealership doing the selling I have reservations about their descriptions (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Someone in the Dallas area might want to go down to the lot & check it out.

The dealership is a old gas station at the North East corner of 75 and Arappaho. I looked at this car yesterday and it is a 4 with carbs. The guy said he would sell it for $6000. It has a funky popriveted repair under the battery in the hell hole. Its got a 5 lug conversion and the rims are 16".

I also sent them a note through ebay reminding them its not a six and a buyer would probably be pissed if purchased for a six and got a four.

This is the same car that Crest Cadillac in Plano was trying to sell on ebay a couple of months ago. Back then they advertised it as a /4, but the Sales Manager told me the reserve was set at $9,000.

When I talked to the man at the lot he said he would take 6000 for it and still be OK. Gotta love used car dealers (IMG:style_emoticons/default/alfred.gif)

Gotta love eBay....

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Dear eBay Member,

Thank you for writing with your concern.

I understand that you want to see the pictures of the engine bay.

eBay doesn't actually handle the merchandise that is offered for
auction. To learn more about an item, you need to contact the seller.

To ask a seller about an item you're thinking of bidding on or have
already bid on, select the "Ask seller a question" link in the Seller
Information box at the top of the listing page. The seller will receive
an email with your question and your email address. The seller can then
send an email back to you directly.

If you're having trouble reaching the seller by email, you can request
the seller's phone number. To get the seller's contact information:

1. Click the "Advanced Search" link at the top of any eBay page.
2. Click the "Find Contact Information" link in the box on the left side
of the page.
3. Enter the seller's User ID and the Item number in question.

eBay will send you an email containing the seller's contact information,
including phone number. At the same time, we'll also send an email to
the seller with your contact information.

If, after several tries, you still can't contact the seller, please
report this to our Investigations Department. Please be sure to include
a description of your efforts to reach the seller. To contact our
Investigations Department:

1. Click the "Help" link at the top of any eBay page.
2. Click the "Contact Us" link on the left side of the page.
3. Select "Bidding and Buying" and then click the "Continue" button.
4. In the first box select, "Problems with sellers."
5. In the second box select, "Seller's email or contact information
isn't working."
6. Click the "Continue" button.
7. Click the "Email us" link. You may be asked to sign in.
8. Enter the requested information, including the Item number or
seller's User ID
9. Click the "Send" button.

We will respond as quickly as possible.

Thank you for being a valuable member of the eBay community.

Sincerely,

Jade B.
