Talimena on Thurs? what time will you get there? I have a staff meeting at 0700. It will be over by 0900 and I'll be outa here. Where to meet and when? Might as well break in the new "passenger" on the first day!!! We are leaving McKinney at 10 am or so. We will probably get to the park entrance where we took the starting picture last April around 3PM (gotta stop for lunch on the way up). That's were we can meet up. When we get to Mena, we will go north to Fort Smith, so bring everything with you. I can give you a call when we stop for lunch to update our timeframe. We are only running around 70%. We will have loaded cars. Sounds good. We'll leave T-Town at noon. We're 2 1/2 hours to Talihina. You have my number. |

As far as the McKinney meet up, I suggest the IHOP at Hwy 75 and Hwy 380. Northeast corner - perfect launch location.
Sounds like we will plan on leaving McKinney around 10am. I will plan to be there around 9:30am. later..... |

Gotta do some smoozin' at a "bidness funkshun" thursday eve, so we'll be rollin' in late. But I might check in at "the lounge" to see what's up. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drunk.gif) .. |

The excitement is building. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/boldblue.gif)
Getting the Porsche support vehicle ready. Change the oil, check the tires, wash and shine. (IMG:http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r101/thoward914/supportvehicle.jpg) The 914 showing a little leg. Take her off the trailer tomorrow, change the oil and wash and wax. (IMG:http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r101/thoward914/leg.jpg) The 911 upset she can't go. (IMG:http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r101/thoward914/911.jpg) Robyn would be pissed if I didn't include a picture of the waterpumper. (IMG:http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r101/thoward914/waterpumper.jpg) And contrary to popular belief, there are trees in Texas (IMG:http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r101/thoward914/yard.jpg) |

Not going to work... the group photo is at the start of the Sat. Tour. How is he going to get the truck and the 914 to the photo site??? Simple. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) Remember the movie The Time Machine with Rod Taylor? Load the time machine in the pickup. Drive it to the site. Unload the time machine and travel back in time to the beginning of the tour. Then drive the teener on the tour. Then travel back in time and return the pickup. What's the problem?
