The car may also have had defects not seen in the photos. I think the CB antenna installed on the rear trunk might have been a deal killer for the $10K+ crowd - either you have to live with the antenna, plug the hole and look at the plug, or weld it shut and repaint the trunk lid. After you repaint you probably have a lid that doesn't match perfectly and you don't have an original paint car for the concours circuit.
