Flat spots to me mean you are running with carbs, correct? Which carbs? I don't see how an ignition system can remove a flat spot. I've used three different systems on my air-cooled and still get the same flat spot from my Dellorto's...which is why I like FI soooo much better!

QUOTE(ynotdd @ Oct 22 2003, 09:31 AM) Anyone use this system and your thoughts please. heard it might fix my flat spot problem(3000-3600) donno if it will fix your problem. i -just- got done installing the points-replacement gizmo (Crane's #715-0020) triggering a HI-6 and i like it just fine so far. Magnecor wires and all-Crane otherwise, trigger - sparkbox - retard unit - coil. your problem is probably something else but if you're determined to upgrade the ignition system anyway, i've been very impressed with the Crane stuff. |
