Are all stock steering wheels the same 70 -76? Just put a replacement one on my 73 and I have this rubbing sound now inside where the wheel meets the steering column. Don't think I installed wrong. Unclipped the horn wire from back of wheel center pad, loosened up the center nut, pulled the wheel off and put the new one on. It feels like the wheel is now rubbing against the copper ring that is further inside the column. What did Ido wrong? I figure if I leave it this way, I will eventually wear something out from the rubbing.
Thanks for the help.
