I made the setup crew. Who else is going early up 880? I'll be there early...I am in charge of workers this Saturday. I'll be leaving Almaden Valley ~5:45am. Up 17-880 I'll be at 880/237 at 6:00AM and will look for you. "In charge of workers".... Oh no, another new boss (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Just make sure the course is 40 feet wide (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) |

This will be an interesting course with 3 slaloms....just depends on how far the cones are spaced....doesn't look to be "tricked up" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

Who designed the course? |

I wasn't going to tell on you Trekkor, really.
The street legal 914s did pretty well today. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) three of us in the 59s for a course that was tough on Boxsters and 911s unless they were very well prepared. There were also 3 or 4 C5 Corvettes in attendance today, one of which was a Z06. They were having a tough time of it as well. The high speed transitions were not well accepted by the drivers or their cars (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) Looks like Andrew in the Smurfmobile is back on the top of the heap after a little hiccup at Marina a couple of weeks ago. Too bad the sun never came out....to heat up those race tires, Bill and Randal (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) It was interesting seeing both of you slowing down to go faster in Fritz. I thought your car sounded great Trekkor. ...sorry I didnt hang around but I had to drop my car off at the shop. Did you get my time? I think I set a record for myself 5 runs out of 8 with full spins. I was having tough time with that course. Randal helped by showing me that I was early apexing too many corners. Then I late apexed and got cocky and over shot the corners!

Times looked pretty good the PM...
I think that AndrewB did a 55.5+ Bill and Randal I believe were in the 57s Joe W in the 996TT did a 58.8 ( that I saw ) Trekkor did a 58.1 or .2 with one cone = 59.1 or.2 I did a 59.3 Grant did a 59.6 or was it a 59.9? I was quite happy with the handling of my car and the overall setup for today's course. Within <4 seconds from TTOD with my little old 2.0L (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I will be interested in the overall results to see where the 914s ended up. |

My car probably had a high 57 in it, but the driver wasnt up to the task today. I thought I saw the white 914 set a 58 maybe I'm mistaken. I dont know the guy driving the car, but he was moving quickly too. |

Ah Yes,
I forgot all about Birgit and Rich (Walton). I thought Rich did a 59 but maybe it was a 58. In that case we had a very good showing of 914s today. 4 of us sub 60 seconds plus the smurfmobile (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |
