what's the ON position for the wiper switch arm? up or down is off/on? It doesn't work anyway, but would be nice to know which is which.

down is off and if you have the intermittend option, all the way down is intermittend ...

Are you sure that it is the switch? I've seen 914's that have sat even here in CA.

that the wiper mech had frozen up. A little liquid wrench and then some spray

lithum grease frees it up. Something to try.... and cheap.

Yeah, I don't know. I'm not saying the switch is bad. I'm just saying that no matter which position it's in, nothing happens at the motor end of things. I have been messing with carbs, fuel pump, headlights, radio, kickpanel speakers, etc. Just now getting to that wiper switch/motor thingymayiggers...
