Guess a company makes this car and you can either supply your own drive train or they will build it for you.
These guys who sell panteras built this one. Would it be able to handle that well with such a big motor? http://www.pim.net/cav427a.htm |

It is a windsor based small block that has been bored and stroked out to get that
displacement. With alloy heads I dont think it would hurt the handling. I think the engine in the original gt 40 was an actual all iron 427 ci big block and they won a few races so this should be fine. |

Ther is a CAV GT40 that has competed in one lap for a couple of years. Don't know about the kit, but theirs is very well put together and fast.

Well I have been drooling for days.
I think I am gonna buy one. Not the one I found but get one made from the manufacturer. Here is a video on you tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EaQtfue6cX0 Takes like 3-4 months to order so I might put in an order around December. Hopefully I might come to my senses by then. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) http://www.cav.co.za/ Oh and apperantly this is the same company that makes the noble. Anyways I am thinking orange with a black stripe and black wheels with webers (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) Attached image(s) |
