Hi Guys,

A friend and I might buy a 931 to get some parts off it, including some 16x6 Fuchs. How can you tell the fake ones from the real stuff?

Thanks,

Matt

If they have 6 lugs, they're fake.

Clean all the brake dust off the backs and look for a part number starting in 911 and a symbol that looks like a fox head.
Search the archives or google the part number and you should be able to confirm what they are.

Are you sure that a 931 (aka 924) uses the same offset Fuchs as a 911/914?

Look for the triangle with the P inside it.
