914 conversion with a Subaru 6 and a cable shifter

Erics 1st turbo suby motor swap
Eric upgrades to a Subaru flat 6
Erics cable shifter for a stock 914 transmission

He did these while going to college and on a very limited budget.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smiley_notworthy.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/boldblue.gif)

Is anyone else around here doing a Subaru six conversion? We always here about the 4 cylinder motors but the 3.3L 240hp Subaru flat six sounds like a screamer and I guess fits pretty easily. Same size as Eric's 2.7 six?
