Maybe This one has been done???
A few starters..

When I got my garage queen 73 2.0..
She was a bit rough..one of my first endeavors was to
clean up the Fuch's.....
TO THE TUNE OF 20 HOURS ON THE 5 WHEELS!!!

Next...when the wife is out of towne.....
Nothin cleans parts...
LIKE THE DISHWASHER!!!!(No not the total grease bomb stuff)...

Since owning the car back in 94..
I have used over
2000 Q/TIPS!!!!! (Costco the 750 pack x 3)!!!

Next batter up??

I'm almost embarrassed to even mention this, it happened at the very height of my obsession with concours.

Not happy with the way my transaxle looked, I removed & spent some ridiculous number of hours with Simichrome & a Dremel on it. When finished it looked like it had been chrome plated - for about 3 days. Then it slowly (thankfully) re-oxidized to its original look. It was gorgeous, though hardly concours until it morphed to its original look.

Dumb & young!
