What kind of tool do you need to get the bulbs out and back into the dash knobs? Tweezers? Do they twist or do they just pull straight out?

Get a small thin walled hose at your local flaps, or get some heat srink and shrink it down to the size you need for the bulb. Push it on the bulb, push, twist and remove, works for me
