ok, i have a 74 2.0 teener. and when i go to press the trunk release button the latch pops, then unpops, the second i let off the button.
what causes this? oh and i cant just use a key because i have a 911 reflector Porsche logo over where the key hole is... arg.! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sawzall-smiley.gif) |

It could be a simple alignment issue between the lower and upper latch components.
It could also be a weak spring in the upper portion of the rear trunk lid latch. Do you have a wing or tail mounted to the rear trunk lid? Extra weight may be tough for the latch spring to overcome. just a couple thoughts. |
