I took this off a 2.0 that was getting converted to a six. I've never seen one before. Pretty well built, and sounds decent. The muffler is a fairly heavy gauge steel, and the rust you see is surface rust only, it's very solid. Just curious.

Never seen one exactly like that but it reminds me of the old performance
mufflers. Any info at all? |

I have one of those around. I was told it was a Type 1 muffler. Mike (aka Sparky) knows the secret.

Looks like the old Bug muffler.
Scott Schroeder made one similar to that out of an old Banana Muffler. Welded 2 pipes straight out with Supertrapps. I think. |
