my g/f said she'd buy me a dvd player style h/u (the kind that slide out, but i dont think itll fit.) i love her. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)

6.5" Speaker Pods on Ebay by Morphenspectra, other than these pods he use to make a center console that had a subwoofer intergrated into the console on the passenger side.

Do a search for Department of the interior and get ready for Good vibrations.

get him to make you one of his sub box that goes where the foam foot rest is on the pass. side. it works great with a 8" sub that needs a .33 cu ft sealed box.
i have one and the factory carpet covers it so you don't see it.
then you can mount a amp inside the gage console.

Most anything out there will fit. You are prolly gonna need to mod the stock mounting plate or get a new one. Everybody that has used the Morphenspectra Speaker Pods loves them. James and Heidi certainly have a slick way if you want a sub too. Some guys stick one in the passenger foot well. Don't cut the door pannels (if the PO didn't already fuch them up).

I enjoy the sweet sound of a singing sing most of the time. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/burnout.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tunez.gif)
There are some details in my blog about the sound system I put in a few months ago.
I really like the retro look of the Kenwood EZ500 deck. MP3's are now my friend.

I rode with John and heard him sing at RRC... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon8.gif) He needs louder speakers.

i think i may pass on the sub. dont want to mess up the look of interior being almost entirely stock parts. 84 bucks aint bad at all.

any info on the speakers that come with them?

and am i going to have to cut the dash in order to install a newer head unit?
havent checked that yet.

(also if you or anyone you know is from the okc/anywhere in oklahoma area, get in touch with me. id love to talk cars with ya.)

Both sub designs are awesome!
I currently have the 6.5" pods....on a shelf in my basement, haha.
Also have a new head unit and a 6.5" bazooka tube. One of these days I'll install and probably continue to not listed to the radio while I drive.

I also made a center console that has 2 3.5" two-ways pointing up, so you can hear music on the highway with the top off.

But like I said, I still drive 90% of the time with no tunes, listening for thinks going wrong in the car, haha.

When will someone belly up to the bar and start making the passengers floor sub enclosures? These one-offs are great, but there seems to be a real market here for a short run. Morphenspectra had a teaser and then sold it off on Ebay. Anyone else making them for others?
