At these BBQs I always end up being the guy with the bottom half of me sticking out of someone's engine bay (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol2.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chairfall.gif)

Toast,
I took my battery to Autozone to dispose of it. They looked up my phone number and it had a 3 year warranty on it. I only bought it like 5 months ago. I didn't think they would cover it because it was obviously some type of cut across the top. Dunno wha happend toit... anyway. just wanted to drop it off and get rid of it. They handed me a new receipt and said grab a new battery on the way out, we're even!!! YEAH baby YEAH! $80 extra for, hm, tire cleaner, windex, lucas oil treatment... what else can I get with that... ooh ooh, LUNCH!! |

Howard once told me that NARP stood for No Apparent Reason Party. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smoke.gif)
Well - in this case, Team NARP had a very good reason to party. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/boldblue.gif) ..... to collect donation for Toys for Tots. *(and we did so with great success (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)) **(don't forget the (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chowtime.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer3.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/jsharp.gif) ) Thanks to our ever gracious host - the one - the only - Mr. Joe Sharp. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) ***(thanks for giving us a location and an excuse to get together again and demonstrate what this Club is really all about) It was great to see some old friends and make some new ones. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Thanks to the Team NARP Engineers for installing my new fog lights. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sawzall-smiley.gif) Aaron (IMG:style_emoticons/default/splat.gif) Didn't they tell you it's not safe to take pictures while trying to operate a motor vehicle. |

I figured this would prolly be my last Road Trip for the year, so I decided to make it a good one. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
I came down on Friday to carve some canyons. SR 6 going up to the Mount Palomar Observatory was awesome. Then there was the Ortega Hwy Fun Run and caravan up PCH to Team NARP HQ. Elvira and I also took the long way home going back to Vegas. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/burnout.gif) I saw this sweet GTO when I stopped for gas. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drooley.gif) I wasn't the only one out playing. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) The Pacifico License Plate from the Cardboard Splitter Project stayed on the entire trip. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) |
