I just got my shocks (thank you Joe Ricard). well it turns out my old shocks are very worn out Koni's. alas, they come with a fixed top retaining nut. my new shock are retainer-less.
i need two retainers ASAP. anyone out there got a couple of spares? thank robin Attached image(s) |

It looks like you could take a spanner and remove that inner brass ring (or a bench vise, a punch and a hammer) and maybe get the retainers off.
