I'm getting ready to do my Megasquirt install. Mike Muller gave me a MSI with a 1.o1 board. Is it possible to put the MSII daughter board on it?? I will eventually want to do spark controll.
BTW- There seems to be some debate about MS vs d-jet, one of the opinions I have heard is that there is nothing gained by going to a MS system over a "properly tuned d-jet" I say (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bs.gif) Here's why. For the past year I have been chasing a missing and backfiring problem, it's mostly when the car is cold, once it is to operating temp it is better but the driveability until then is almost unbearable. Every item on my D-jet has been checked twice, it all works. I came acrsoss my symptom on Brad anders site, it is the same problem he had. The only fix is to put a resistor inline with the CHT which the way I understand it affects the enitre range of AF mixture. To me that is a bandaid for a common problem. With a MS system this can be easily taken care of. My opinion, NOT ment to offend, rant over!! |
