Hey trekk, once my teener's worthy to drive for more than five minutes I would like to get some track time without a lot of class restrictions. Are you with POC or something. Who sanctions your trackdays. Just wondering. Not that I want to compete with you or anything.... you're too damn fast. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/KMA.gif) Seriously though, great video. Good lines. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumb3d.gif)

I run with Trackmasters.

I started in their novice run group.
Also ran with PCA. ( CDS )
I'm still in contact with my intructors who help me now.

I hope to run in the PCA time trials next season.

very good lap, trekkor -- congrats! i think you can go faster, though: you tend to drive to the edge of the track instead of drift to it... i think you can be a bit more aggressive overall. of course, easier said than done!

Which turns, specifically, am I driving to?
I'm having a hard time seeing it.

Thanks

i feel like you could be more on the edge in 6, 8 (although you obviously couldn't get a good entry there because of the slow 911), and 10. 9 was right on, though!

none of this is to say that what you posted wasn't an excellent lap -- au contraire!

Maybe sometime I can show you the video from the whole session.

In one lap I get a good run at 6-9. I tell you this, I could go no faster!!
110-115 through 8 is crazy.

SOT....

Trekkor,

What video camera are you using? Really steady & clear videos!

Greg

P.S. Your car sounds great! Can't beat the sound of a Porsche 6 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumb3d.gif)

The video cam is an older JVC digital tape model GR-D72U.

The video can look much better on the TV or computer for playback when it is un-compressed.

A two minute video starts out at about 60 MB as a MPEG file.
After using Window Media Encoder it compressed down to about 10 MB as a WMV file. ( I always leave the audio unaltered )

Better for dial up file transfers. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
