For those that don't know SEMA is Specialty Equipment Manufactures Association.... aftermarket auto goodies.
It's all big bucks custom cars and displays from the larger manufactures. www.semashow.com The cars have gotten better over the years but the girls were a bit dissappointing this time. Most hid behind their poster signing tables (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) http://www.914resources.com/sema/ http://www.914resources.com/sema2/ Chris |

QUOTE(Jeroen @ Nov 8 2003, 05:41 PM) Was that cable shifter in the Ultima car? Yes. The case looked like it said 930.xxx but it wouldn't be a 5 speed as spec'd unless I'm not in the know on recent developments. Thought you fab guys would be interested... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif) It was a very nicely done piece. Oh, this Ultima was also a full tilt race car, had the fuel cell where the pass seat would go, etc. Chris |

Its a 930 4 speed. The 5speed conversion ads a gear in the last section of the tailhousing and is "obvious".

Oh, Brad. Forgot to mention.
Another Jesse James sighting. He was in front of me when registering. Took me a few "yea, that's him" before I was sure it was him, then people started hitting him up for autographs. I didn't bug him. His "people" must have boned it and not pre-registered him. Jesse's not hurting, he just signed a license deal with WalMart for $52 million... Also saw the little guy from Jackass walking around, and the guy from the Classic Car show with the big curley handlebar mustache. sm |

Actually, not a cabin. It's an open bow boat. The "window" in the side was just some sort of vent, not glass, but screened. Heck, could have been more speakers. There were no less then 8 rearward facing speakers, and 8 spotlights on the front of the tower.
I took that one to send to my buddies since we all board together. sm |
