I wonder what would happen to the wheels after the brakes get really, really hot.

Ugh, look at the specs (heavy) and a mere 20K for a set.

Technical Data
The center is 1.5 or 2” polycarbonate, chemical hard coated both sides.

Weight 20” - 27 lbs, and 22” - 38 lbs (complete wheel weight)

All other parts of the wheel are forged 6061t aluminum
(Inner and outer hoops and Hub center)

SAE tested, certified and passed Impact, cornering and radial tests.

Now in production, average delivery time is 6-8 weeks.

Suggested retail is $5000.00 per wheel

I don't think you can use them in a racing environment and yes I wonder what happens to them when it gets mounted to car that sees regularly red hot rotor temps. <insert melting smiley>

Exactly what I was thinking. Might be kinda cool for a weekend drive to a night club but thats about it.

Might be good on a Prius, since we all know who ever drives those things don't go past 25mph.

Even if you have the $$$....... I don't

Even if you like the style....... I don't

Why the hell would you want to remove the wheels every 3 weeks to clean them????
