I guess I find it odd that they paid that much to restore this car and decided to "update" it with an aftermarket steering wheel and drivers seat. And how about the vague desdcription...jeez On the otherhand the ign switch is in the right place (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) |

A quick and easy way to test if that extra bracing is needed (which I think is way overkill unless you need ballast (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ) is to remove it and attach a few strings with tape to the body in that area.
The bracing on top of the shocks makes no sense due to the trailing arm being located purely by the the pivot point. The shock gives it no strength and does not help "locate" the suspension as does the front struts do. Of course this is all IMHO....once some testing is done to disprove my therory, I'll still not believe you, but I won't say so in public (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Does 9xxAuto sell these? It seems to be a product that fits them perfect....all claims with no proof. |
