Didn't the factory 914/6 gt's have a strut brace Dave? even have a pic of it in a book. they had to notch the fiberglass hood to clear the brace.....hmmm it would seem that 9x auto would have those in stock (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) and in many anodized ricer boyz colors too! are you talking front or back? not sure about the rear, but the front was different from a stock 914. they (914 GTs) had the large fuel-tank and no wall between the front shock-towers ...
i'm sure DD knows more (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Andy |

Aaaaahndy, you're exactly right. The Sixes that had the strut brace needed it because they cut out the front bulkhead to fit the 100-liter fuel tank. From my reading, at least one of the factory-converted GT cars had the regular 16-gallon (60 liter?) fuel tank and did not have the brace.
But I'm sure that acox is right as well--9x auto probably carries them in a variety of bright anodized colors.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) --DD |
