I have a 75 914, how do I attach the liscence plate tot he fornt bumper? It has a german plate on there now and the holes are too close for an American plate. thanks,Matt

You use a 914 front license plate bracket. There must be a few floating around here. The bracket bolts to the holes in the bumper, the plate to the bracket. The Cap'n

Behind the rubber is a thick steel bumper. Mine was drilled and mounted using the top lp screw holes. I removed it though. Or you could get a front lp bracket. It mounts in the two recessed holes front and center. It is different than the rear bracket.
