We put this exhaust on a 2.0 tonight. Nice muffler. Nothing special sound wise. Looks like the one in the MittleMotor thread.

Except it's outlet is in the sport configuration.... didn't the MM exit about where the man sized factory one do?

Good year for me also. I was 15 and had a awesome girlfriend (Dawn Waddle) We won the city championship for Junior High Football (Gunn Gators Arlington, Texas).. This month in 1985 I found my first 914 and my mom surprised me and bought it for me for Christmas (1000$) Yellow 71 914. The production date was 11/70. Same month and year I was born.

Thanks Miles. You brought back a flood of good memories.
