Andy, you keeping your top painted black and your wheels black? or are you still working on that?

top will be red also. i'll have scott sand it down and paint it while they're going to put the finishing touches on the paint job. not sure what i'm going to do with the wheels. i like the way they look right now (black/silver). i would like to get them widened, but the selection of wide tires for 15" rims is very limited these days ...

Dug Wright should still have the sanded top that came on my first 914 (*sigh*). Might save you some work and keep another stock top in the world.

maybe. but mine is in such a good condition. all new seals. no cracks anywhere.

Dont all the hot rodders use 15 in? so shouldnt wide tires be easy to find for them?
