I was wondering if it would be possible to take a set of empies 8 spokes and get them adapted to 16 in and a bit wider. For a flared car.

Could start with knock offs or the real 2 piece ones. 2 piece might be easier and cheeper in the long run.

Thoughts?

Any suggestions about shops that can do this?

You really need to put this in the garage and not the classifieds. You'll get a much better response.

thanks for the move to the garage.

I'm looking at custom wheels because I want something like 16X8's for the front and 16x9's for the rear.

Havn't seen mini's in those sizes.

the knock-offs crack as is so for sure you wouldn't want to add more stress to the centers by increasing the leverage on them.....

wrong website address (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

http://www.packracingproducts.com/acatalog...ite_Wheels.html

They show only 16x7 and 16x8, but they might have larger wheels available special order......another option is to have these widened by a professional, cost is about $150 per rim

You Brian, good to see you around here bro. Its been a while.

I personally think that the mini lites are gonna fit your wants and budget. There was a therad here not too long ago with a link (unless that is what Mike just posted) where you can special order.

I considered reversing my 5 lug stuff/Fuchs to use those wheels before I sold them to you. Can't wait to see them on a car!

Whoever did the work on those did a great job.
