Engine: 380 hp sti
Trans: 915 w/lsd
Brakes: 1977 911s front/rear
Uses: occasional track days, hell raising.
Wheels: havent gotten them yet, thinking custom lindsey racing.
Flares: to fit the wheels/tires..(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

The question is, How wide a tire do i need to hook up well, and what is way overboard. I suppose in this case, overboard means "in keeping with a somewhat overboard design to begin with".

I also want to keep the handling well balanced. Its not a strip car, I want to set it up to handle as well as it accelerates. for a car as well balanced as the 914, is it a good idea to have bigger meats on the back, or keep them the same all the way around?

Seems like most of the v8s are running 245 on the back, but then they have a little more weight back there than I will..

Any thoughts?
