First, I would like to say hi to everybody. I've been a member for a while but have been hanging out in the background reading as much as possible. I don't own a 914 yet but I'm always on the lookout for a good project car.
Anyways, last summer at the FSAE competition in Romeo, MI there was an orange 914 parked in the lot. The body was a little rough but it had a six conversion and was running an Electromotive processor and ignition. What caught my eye was that it appeared to have some sort of soleniod actuated shifter. I only got a quick look so it could have been a cable shifter but it was deffinately a custom setup. Does anybody know whos car this is? I've never seen pics of it on this site and haven't been able to find anything else about it. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me at the time. Thanks, Joey |
