hello all, i have one very nice lens, and one faded. has anyone ever repainted the yellow part of the lens?

I think the pigment is in the plastic... not a surface treatment. But I could be wrong. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)

Nope.. it is really not necessary. Last time I checked, they were still available new.


And they aren't that expensive. Keep the old one as a spare in case one gets broken.

so far, the European version(yello/clear) are running $40 a pair on ebay. i really hate to spend that cash and only need one. but i guess a new spare isn't such a bad thing!
